Located in the Mavelikkara Taluk, Alappuzha, the Chettikulangara Bhagvathy Temple is one of the most renowned Hindu temples of South India. The deity of this temple is believed to have healing powers. This temple is among the 5 temples which are established by Lord Parasurama. Basically, this temple is located on Kayamkulum – Mavelikara route. The Chettikulangara Bhagvathy Temple is quite ancient and renowned for its mystical powers. Historical evidence reveals that the shrikovil of the temple is about 480 years old and the Chuttambalam dates back about two centuries.

This is just 50 KM from Alappuzha and devotees will have to divert at the Nagiarkulangara junction, 2 KM from Haripad.
