Located in Peermedu, Idduki, Kuttikanam is a well – known place for adventure and trekking. It is a small hill station which is located 1100 m above the sea level. It is surrounded by lush green tea plantations and situated between Kanjirappally and Mundakkayam. This place is well – known for its breathtaking and picturesque views. It is one of the ideal trekking destinations of the state and, therefore, attracts plenty of adventure loving people. A great area of forest is reserved in Kuttikanam and these forests are home to a variety of flora and fauna.

This place can be easily reached either from Kottayam railway station (71 km away from the place) via Kollam – Thani highway or from Cochin international airport which is located at a distance of 118 km. The local residents of Idduki and Peermedu can reach this place by hiring the private taxi or cab.
