Pelling: A Must Visit Spot in Sikkim

Pelling is a small town that is located in the district of West Sikkim. It is at an altitude of 7,200 feet from the sea level. At a distance of 10 km from the district of Geyzing, Pelling is a must visit place for travelers for its cozy scenic beauty. It has got one of the best views of the Himalayan Kanchanjangha Ranges. Pelling has a helipad ground where the Helicopters can be connected with Gangtok on special request.

The Town Pelling is rich with scenic beauty, flora and fauna, beautiful terrain and wonderful places to visit. How to Reach

Pelling is just 115 km from the state capital Gangtok. From Siliguri it is 135 km , which are the nearest rail stations. From there you need to take either a bus or private jeeps to reach Pelling.


There are immense scope for exploration in Pelling. You can trekdown the hilly tracks of the town, visit the nearest PanchuGaon, take a short trip to the Monastries and the Khechupuri Lake. The waterfalls and the Rock Garden are beautiful picnic spots where you can spend the day out.
