Thumpachi Calveri Samuchayam is one of the lesser – known gems of South Indian region. Here, visitors can catch glimpses of popular Asian elephants and other wildlife. The slopes of Thumpachi Calveri Samuchayam are filled with tea, coffee, spices, cardamom, and rubber plantations. There are two ways to reach the summit. One can go either for the steep climb along the tracts made by the walking of the trekkers. Or else, the visitors can use the road to reach the summit. This option is simple as the road is easier to climb and gradually ascends to the summit. Also, it is an important pilgrimage site for the Christians. Here, one can see the 14 crosses placed at regular intervals.

This place is properly connected by all the main roads, rails, and airways. One can reach Thumpachi Calveri Samuchayam either from Kottayam junction which is about 133 KM away from this place or from Cochin international airport which is situated at a distance of 116 KM.
