I've travelled to Munnar in buses several times. At my young age, I used to travel by private buses for its speed and availability. Private buses usually drive much faster than KSRTC buses. I used to enjoy the speed but not anymore. For safety concerns, I prefer KSRTC buses where drivers are not in a hurry since their schedules allow them plenty of time to reach the destination.
