Purna Sanctuary – Purna Wildlife sanctuary covers an area of around 160 km. stretch and is a vast area of deciduous forest. This place is ideal for trekking, though one needs to take a prior permission before planning to visit this place.

Saputara Ropeway – This is an added advantage of being in Saputara. The ropeway and cable car ride is approximately 10 minutes and captures the breath – taking view of the entire area.

Gira Falls – This is just 52 km. away from Saputara and is ideal place to visit during monsoons. The visit to this place provides and excellent trekking for the travelers. It is a fun filled expedition.

Gardens– Two gardens are exceptionally beautiful, namely the Rose Garden and the Step Garden. In the Rose garden, one gets to see some wonderful varieties of roses, and Step garden is set up in the form of steps and each and every step is filled with beautiful plants and flowers. These gardens add to the beauty of this place.

Saputara Sunset viewpoint – One gets to see a lovely view of the entire forest from this point. Sun – set adds to its beauty. With clear skies, one also gets to view the hutment of the tribes dotted all along the hill slopes.

Boating – The Saputara Lake provides us with an ultimate luxury of boating, with row or paddle boats. The boating offers a panoramic view of the city.

Vansda National Park – This place happens to be a reserved forest area, recently open for public. It spreads over an area of around 26 km. One gets to see a large amount of wildlife in this small stretch including python, leopard, antelopes, pangolins, tigers etc.
