It is suggested that tourists should not visit this place during monsoons as it might be risky and dangerous for the ones that are not in habit of driving on hilly roads. If you wish to visit this place in winter season then you need to carry some good woolen stuff but if you plan your trip in summer season then don’t forget to carry an umbrella as rain shower is pretty common.
How to Reach
This place can be easily reached by railways and airways. Aluva junction (108 KM away from this place) and Angamaly junction (109 KM away from the place) are the nearest railway stations. Also, the visitors can reach this place from Cochin international airport which is just 108 KM away from this place via Aluva – Munnar road.

The best time to visit Hills of Munnar is from December to February as this is the winter season and the weather is quite pleasant. This is a perfect time for a vacation or a honeymoon.
