Pelling is a small town that is located in the district of West Sikkim. It is at an altitude of 7,200 feet from the sea level. At a distance of 10 km from the district of Geyzing, Pelling is a must visit place for travelers for its cozy scenic beauty. It has got one of the best views of the Himalayan Kanchanjangha Ranges. Pelling has a helipad ground where the Helicopters can be connected with Gangtok on special request.
The Town Pelling is rich with scenic beauty, flora and fauna, beautiful terrain and wonderful places to visit. It is always recommendable to book the hotels quite in advance for Pelling. It would be quite cold in winter season but quite pleasant in the months of September to November.
