Located in Thrissur district, Thiruvambady Temple is one of the foremost holy shrines in Kerala state. The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Krishna. This temple is located nearly 1 KM north of Vadakkunnathan temple and 800 m from Swaraj round, on the Shornur road. The temple is quite small in the terms of physical appearance. It is built in traditional Kerala style and, therefore, grabs the attention of a countless number of tourists. Apart from the presiding deity, goddess Bhagavathy, Lord Ganesha and Dharmasastha are also worshiped here.
