Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple is one of the 108 Vishnu temples which are revered by 12 poets. It is located near Aranmula village in Pathanamthitta district. This temple is situated on the banks of Pampa River. It is believed that the idol of Lord Vishnu was brought here in a raft made up of six bamboos. It is one of the five ancient shrines of Chengannur area and is well – known for its beauty. This temple is built in the traditional Kerala style. The temple has a two – storeyed gopuram. This shrine is located in the serene and peaceful environment.
