Located in Ayikkara, Arakkal Kettu Museum is a well – known tourist destination of this region. It is located almost 3 KM from Kannur district. This museum is a tribute to Arakkal family, the only royal Muslim family in Kerala. It is a part of Arakkal Kettu (Arakkal royal palace). The hall was renovated and converted into museum by the government in the year 2005. The renovation cost was Rs 9, 000, 000. Though it is renovated by the government but it does not fall under the control of ASI and is still managed by Arakkal family trust.

Arakkal Kettu Museum is an ideal location for the museum and history lovers. It has a rich collection of numerous artifacts and heirlooms belonging to the royal kings. A nominal entry fee is charged by the visitors which is Rs 10 for Indians and Rs 50 for foreigners.
