No doubt that the city of Jaisalmer is one of the best tourists destinations in India. Because of the local sightseeing in Jaisalmer itself, it has the potential to flock in thousands of tourists day-by-day. Some of them are listed below -
Jaisalmer Fort - Jaisalmer Fort is considered to be one of the largest forts in the world. And honestly, it consists of everything - hotels, shops, stalls, accommodation, fine diner & restaurants. I won't list down the architectural facts and numbers about it but from the tourist point of view this place would give you breath-taking views from the top. The entire structure of the stone is made out of yellow sandstone and that's the reason why it is called "Sonar Kila". So if you're staying nearby the fort, do remember to get the captivating views of it in the early morning.
Gadsisar Lake - This lake was constructed in the year 1400 AD and was known as a water conservation tank earlier. This place is for those who just wants to sit and relax and spend some of their time reading a novel or having a cup of coffee. One of the best and peaceful area to be at. You can also opt to enjoy the boat-ride on this lake.
Salim Singh Ki Haveli - It was built in the year 1815 by Salim Singh. This place is beautifully crafted in terms of architecture and design. If you see the detailing of this architecture, you would be stunned. It has around 38 carved balconies.
