In my view, India's lesser-famous tourist destinations will be ideal for honeymoon couples. Few of them are,

    1) Wayanad - Though Kerala is one among the most popular tourist spots in India, Wayanad is still a less-explored hill station of Kerala. Locations like Pookkod lake, Chain tree, Edakkal cave, Kuruva island, Muthanga Wild Life Sanctuary, Soochippara Water Falls, Muthanga Bamboo Forest, Pakshipathalam Bird Sanctuary, Neelimala View Point, Meenmutty Water Falls, Tea plantation & Tea tasting experience, Bon Fire & Star Gazing experience, etc. are only few of the attractions in Wayanad. Additionally, Wayanad also has lots of plantation resorts, honeymoon resorts, and home-stays, which will gift an exotic and memorable holidays for honeymoon couples.

    2) Lakshadweep - One of India's union territory, this conglomeration of one lakh small islands will give a secluded and luxurious honeymoon with its turquoise sea water, coral reefs, and sea food. For honeymoon couples, some of the major tourist spots here at Lakshadweep are, Agatti Island (attractions are moonlit beach dinner, beach activites like parties, sunbathing, boating), Bangaram Island (attractions are greenish blue water, secluded beaches, lagoon bathing, night stay at water bungalow), Minicoy Island (options for adventure sports like water sports, trekking, Hammock picnic, etc.).

    3) Andaman - Another union territory of India, Andaman will surely be a treat for honeymooners with its blue sea water, secluded beaches, classic natural beauty and luxurious resorts. Some of the tourist options for honeymoon couples in Andaman are Neil Island (having dense forest, sandy beaches, and coral reefs), Smith Island, North Island, etc.

    4) Coorg - Known as 'India's Scotland', Coorg is a lesser-known but an ideal place for a honeymoon trip with its lush green forests, flower valleys, enchanting hills, coffee plantations, etc. Abbey Falls, Talacauvery, Nagarhole National Park, Barepole River Rafting, Tadiandamol Peak, Iruppu Falls, etc. are some of the major attractions at Coorg.

    5) Pahalgam - Located in the misty Jammu & Kashmir valley, it will be an ideal romantic location for honeymoon couples. Lidder River, Sheshnag Lake, as well as the snow-capped Himalayas are some of the major attractions in Pahalgam.

    6) Gokarna - This small town in the state of Karnataka is a lesser known place, but can surely offer a surreal vacation. Filled with coconut and palm trees along with various beaches like Om Beach, Kudle Beach, Gokarna Beach, Gokarna is also famous for activities like water spots. A beautiful hill station 'Yaana' is also located near Gokarna.

    7) Sunderbans - It is a delta area formed by the combination of the rivers Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna in the Bay of Bengal. Sunderbans spans from Hooghly River of West Bengal to Baleswar River in Bangladesh. This Mangroove forest will be an ideal honeymoon destination for wildlife loving couples.

    8) Daman & Diu - Once a Portuguese colony, these union territories have a variety of enjoyment options for honeymoon couples including wildlife, heritage, and beaches offering romantic sunset cruise.

    2. Coorg, Karnataka - known as the Scotland of India. This place is quiet, scenic and perfect for couples.
