    1. JUHU
    Juhu is without a doubt one of the most visited and famous beach in Mumbai. This place is a hot shot tourist attraction. A lot of celebrities reside in this place so automatically it becomes one of the top beaches of Mumbai.

    2. DADAR
    Dadar is somewhat of a rocky beach with little sand and is also a bit narrow structurally. This beach is not as crowded as the other beaches of Mumbai. The beach offers something unique like the Bandra -Worli Sea link that contributes to its specialty.

    3. GORAI
    This place is known for being home to the Essel World Amusement park. The beach does not have a lot of features and is rarely crowded during most of the week.

    4. ERANGAL

    5. VERSOVA
    This beach is as well -known as the Juhu beach. The crowd is relatively lesser than the Juhu beach. This beach also has some historical significance as Shivaji Maharaj found this place good enough to find solace.

    This beach is one of the hidden Treasure of Mumbai. This beach is located twenty minutes from Panvel, this calm and serene place offers an exceptionally beautiful view of South Mumbai from a distance.

    7. AKSA
    This calm and serene beach is just a few minutes away from Malad train station. Swimming is prohibited due to unpredictable currents and shifting sands.
    This beach is less crowded during the weekdays. This beach attracts quite a few picnickers from the city's Northern suburbs during the weekends. One can just sit back and relax .The beach offer beautiful scenic view of Arabian Sea.

    I thank the author for this informative post on the beaches of Mumbai. I am fortunate to visit some of these beaches. As mentioned by the author, Dadar is congested and a little bit dirty. Juhu, Gorai, Versova beeches are properly maintained. I have heard about Uran and Aksa beaches but have not yet got the opportunity to visit these two beaches.
