An informative post. However, I am interested to know whether any tour operator arranges a visit to IIT Powai and a visit to Sakhroli forest or any other forest near Mumbai.

    Partha:
I think tour operators would love to do that but as not many people would be available to go to such select places they might not hire a mini bus or full bus and the interested persons might book a taxi and a guide provided by the tour operator. This mode would be costly also. Generally tour operators would arrange for those place where many tourists yearn to visit that is the common tourist points in a particular place like Chowpatty in Mumabai.
