Night clubs and pubs in Munnar

Are you looking for night clubs and pubs in tourist destinations like Munnar, Kochi, Kovalam or Wayanad? Follow this thread to learn more about from the destination experts.

We are visiting Munnar for the new year celebrations. I want to know if there are good night clubs and pubs in Munnar. If not, which other tourist places in Kerala have the night clubs? How about Kovalam or Fort Kochi?

If you are looking for the type of nightclubs you see in the western countries, you won't find them in Munnar. Being a conservative state, there are no night clubs and pubs in Munnar.

When it comes to dance clubs and nightclubs, Kerala is not the place to be in. You may find better luck at places like Bangalore.

If you are looking for alcohol products, you can find government beverages outlet and few bars in Munnar. Even though there are no pubs, you can find few beer parlours and wine shops.

There is not much of a nightlife in munnar and there are hardly any nightclubs available. However, I have found a few places that you could check out.

    1. High Range Club
    2. Mountain Club
    3. Camelot Resort

Generally tourists visit Munnar to enjoy the beauty of nature and the tea-gardens. Two small sanctuaries (Kurinjimala an Chinnar) are also there for the nature-lovers. Generally the tourists don't go for night-life at Munnar. However, I heard (in 2011) that there are some clubs for the top-level officials and managers of local tea-gardens at Munnar, the details of which have already been provided by Ms. Naina Gupta.

Don't just focus on nightlife and night clubs in Munnar. There are plenty of attractions which are worth visiting.

Don't forget to visit places like Anayirangal dam, Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Honey Bee Tree, Rose garden, Dream Land Spices Park etc. Unfortunately, there are no Uber and Ola cabs in Munnar. So, if you don't have a car, you may have to hire a bike and go around the places yourself.
