The temperature reaches 36 degrees celsius. And during winters from October to February it's too cold out there. So the best time is between June and September. You can reach Rishikesh via all 3 ways, that is by flight, by train or by bus. The nearest airport of Rishikesh is Dehradun Airport and the nearest railway station is Haridwar Station. Although there is a railway station in Rishikesh as well, not many trains operate here. And you can easily get a bus to Dehradun or Haridwar from where you can easily reach Rishikesh by a private rickshaw or bus. Rishikesh is also more popular because there are many things to do in rishikesh.

Bungee jumping
In Rishikesh bungee jumping is organised by Jumpin heights which is approximately 14 kms away from Laxman Jhula and it will take you approximately 40 mins to reach there. And the place where Jumpin heights is located is known as Mohan Chatti. One ticket of Bungee jumping is 3550 INR. After that you will have to wait in a cafeteria before you will be called out first and then it will be your turn. And there is a ticket for 100 rupees to enter inside the cafeteria. Only after that you can go and wait in the cafeteria area. You might have to wait for a long time to do Bungee jumping because it's a very popular sport. Many times you can find a crowd over here. You will get some space for waiting at the cafeteria of Jumpin Heights. The platform of Rishikesh from which the Bungee jumping happens is about 83 m , and definitely it's not an easy task to jump from this height.
Flying fox and Giant swing
The ticket for flying fox is 1800 per person and Giant swing is 3550 per person. There are many combos for the same and you have to maintain extreme precautions to do these sports.
In flying fox you are made to fly like a superman with the help of a harness and it's also the ultimate experience.
Giant swing is a very mammoth swing in which you are pushed off the same platform as the Bungee jumping with a harness and you take a big swing of the entire valley. The minimum age for doing both of these sports is 12 years and the minimum weight should be 20 kg and maximum weight should be 130 kg.
