Shaniwar Wada is one of Pune's popular archaeological monuments situated at 10 km. from Lohegaon Airport and 4.5 km. from railway station. Shaniwar Wada was built by Peshwa Baji Rao in the year 1729-30, the palace was once the home of the mighty Peshwas.
