About the Candolim Beach
Candolim Beach is a part of a long stretched beach which runs along the coast line of the Arabian Sea which begins at Fort Aguada at the statr of the Goa State and ends at Chapora Beach. This Beach is long and straight , with its golden sandy beaches running into Calangute beach. These beaches get backed up by scrub covered dunes and has become very popular with the tour package operators.
This beach is not crowded one, since there are not many hotels and resorts around the place. Mostly you will find nature lovers, some tourists who come for a longer stay and also people taking a break from Osho Rajneesh Ashram in Pune.

The best time to visit will be December to February. The other attractions near the Beach are the Aguada Fort and the Calangute Beach. Unlike the busy and commercialized Calangute beach, this beach is very calm and quiet and very beautiful. the beach has numerous Inns big and small with very good facilities. You can easily find one good enough for you to stay and spend time at the beach. How to reach
First you have to reach Goa either at the airport or the railway station. You can get connected road transport from there to the Beach. The Beach is easily accessible to one and all. There are a number of buses for people to connect and reach from Mapusa and Calangute.
The nearest interstate bus station is at Mapusa, which is the KTC bus station. Buses often stop here, at the bus stand which is opposite to the Casa Sea Shell. There are some which continue south to the fort Aguada Beach Resort.
