Church of St. Peter is on the way from Panaji to old Goa, Here one sees a dome across the rural community church of St. Peter. Church of St. Peter is a very old church, and history says that it was raised in 15th century at the expense of the public treasury by the Portuguese architects.

It is believed that it should have been raised with simple structure. Now the church is now put on with an antique exterior. The Church is small in size and on one of its dome is seen an image of St. Peter, the Prince of the Apostles, to whom it was devoted.

A few messages almost wiped out on the floor is seen; that at the entrance bears the name of Joao Rodríguez. It is in the background of the main altar can still be seen, the old wooden frame joined with thin shells, through which looks in light bluish colour.
