This article is about the uniqueness of temples which are in the hill top and also talks about the famous significant nava (nine) in our mythology in Tamil Nadu and where I have made a visit.
Murugan Temple
Mostly people like to visit temples and hill temples are always a nice visit. In Tamil Nadu, people believe that on every hill top, big or small, a temple of Murugan will always be there. I just wanted to list those temples which I have visited.
Sivan Temple- Velliangiri hills in Coimbatore District. Since it is a forest, only men are allowed on the top to go by walk but others can see the temple from down below. Agasthiar Temple in Papanasam which also features agasthiar falls, is a a real treat on the podhigai hills.
