KURTC is a subdivision of KSRTC, which is the public transport system of Kerala government. KSRTC has been operating low-floor AC buses within the town limits for a long time. These buses are air conditioned and are very comfortable to travel. Their charges are usually higher than the normal bus tickets and for that reason, only a limited number of people travel by such buses.
Starting from mid of 2015, KURTC is operating air conditioned low floor buses from Ernakulam to Munnar. These buses start from Ernakulam bus station and go via Aluva, Perumbavoor, Kothamangalam and Adimali. You can board these buses from any of these stations, but advance booking is available only from Ernakulam and Perumbavoor.Advance booking and time table
Currently, there is only one low-floor AC bus operating from Ernakulam to Munnar. This bus starts from Ernakulam KSRTC bus stand at 9 am and reaches Munnar at 2:05 pm. This bus pass through Perumbavoor at 10:20 am. The detailed schedule of all buses are not listed elsewhere. So, your only option is to search for buses and find out using their online booking service. Even though KSRTC claims to operate multiple buses, the online booking facility shows only one bus.

Tea-plantations are not the only attractions in Munnar. Don't forget to visit places like Anayirangal dam, Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Honey Bee Tree, Rose garden etc. Unfortunately, there are no Uber and Ola cabs in Munnar. If you like, you may hire a bike and go around the places yourself. If you are looking for night life, you will need to go to the town.
I find from web site of KURTC that low floor AC bus from ernakulam to Munnar starts at 1030 AM. whereas KURTC trip code says 0900 EKMMNR.( i presume the 0900 is the starting time)
Your article also says the starting time as 9 AM & reaching at 2 PM.

Like wise return bus from munnar seems to be at 1630. Is it this the correct time OR is it earlier than this.
