Summer Season in Shimla


In the middle of the year that is May and June, when the entire nation is burning hot, Shimla is the place which has a very pleasant weather. The temperature during the summer season ranges between 25 to 30 degree Celsius, which is pretty low as compared to other states. Various professional artists like singers, dancers, bands etc. are invited from various parts of the country to give their performances. The Summer Festival lasts for three days. Himachal folk performances are the centre of attraction in this festival. Tourists really enjoy having a glance of such performances and getting to know about the culture of Himachal.

As the tourists are new to the city, it may happen that few people might take the advantage and take away their money, luggage or misguide them.

1. If the tourists are taking any services form the Coolie's, they must check their token number and identity cards.

2. Packaged tours organized by coolie's and guides are not authorized.

3. Tourists might be cheated with higher rates charged on services. So before taking the services from coolies and guides please confirm the rates fixed by the government.

5. Don't get misguided by such coolies and guides.
