SANDUR WAS a beautiful place about 20 years ago and its beauty destroyed by all illegal mining goons like Lads, Reddys and other mining companies, even though NMDC is there for so long but they never bothered to develop Sandur other than their township, and roads are in very very bad dilipilated/unmotorable conditions, but little improvement did by JSW at the cost of spending out of their illgotten wealth by illegal mining and destroying beautiful forest. Even Narihalla was very good and its water was so sweet again totally polluted by lad's illegal resort built by encroching forest land. Now becos of Supreme Court dare devil act of stopping illegal mining, now Sandur again shaping back to original beauty. I love Sandur so much.
