Birla Mandir is built on 280 feet of Kala Pahad and provides beautiful scenic view of Hyderabad city.  The temple is of "Lord Venkateshwara which is a exact replica of Tirupathi Balaji or Lord Venkateshwara at Tirupathi. 

About the Temple

The temple is completely build with white marble and is perfect architectural structure of North and South Indian style.  The temple is maintained and build by the Birla Foundation, which has many temples built in most prominent cities of India.  There is always a work going on in the temple.  The temple is situated in the entrance of city and once you going towards the main temple you will find the craving of Mahabharatha on the white marbles.

Attraction of Temple:

Once you are at the Temple, you will find the silent all round yourself or exotic view of Lumbini Park, Muncipal Corporation of Hyderabad Building and Hussain Sagar.

Visit at Temple:

Once you are at the temple you will find :

1) A rajagopuram which is built in Garudalaya style.

2) There is tower which is at the top called  Jagadananda vimanam is built in the Orissan style.

3) Ramayana and Mahabharata are finely sculpted in beautiful scenes from the great epics.

4) The Lord Venkateshwara idol is 11 feet tall carved on Black granite stone.

Once you reach temple, you will find temple of Sai Baba, Hanumanji, Ganeshji on the way to main to main temple.

The temples plays the slokas and keerthanas of Tyagaraja and Ramadas.

The best to visit and the temple is during the evening when all the lights of the cities and temple are turned on which will give you the best view of city and temple.

The visiting hours of the temple are from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm then 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm every day.
