One can also enjoy the River rafting on Cauvery river during the monsoon season ( mid June to September)

The summers can be very warm especially in the after noons. The summer is between March and June.

The price for tented cottages of K.T.D.C is around Rs.2000 which includes Stay, Lunch, Dinner & breakfast, Coracle Ride, Joy Fishing, Guided Trekking, Forest Entry Fees, Camera Fees & Taxes etc.
