Cauvery wild life sanctuary is located in Bheemeshwari, on the Kanakpura – Kollegal highway from Bangalore. Bheemeshwari is a small town located between Shivanasamudra waterfalls and Mekedatu falls, on the Cauvery river which also flows through parts of Mandya district.
