Cauvery wild life sanctuary is located in Bheemeshwari, on the Kanakpura – Kollegal highway from Bangalore. Bheemeshwari is a small town located between Shivanasamudra waterfalls and Mekedatu falls, on the Cauvery river which also flows through parts of Mandya district. During summers the temperature rises up to 34 degrees and in winters it goes down to 12 degrees in during some years.
