Today this park is considered to be the home for 8 specially designed enclosures for smaller animals, 6 enclosures for deers, 5 monkey enclosures, special dens for lions and tigers and deer safari. Reptiles, birds and animals seen in this park are Indian tiger, White tiger, Baboons, Asiatic leopard, Giant squirrel, Himalayan black bear, Doves, Golden pheasant, Crocodile, Starred tortoise, Ducks, Grey pelicans, Love birds, Hippopotamus, Elephants, Sambhars, Rhesus monkeys, Bonnet monkeys, Peacocks and many more. But visitors should keep in mind certain rules when they visit Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in Andhra Pradesh. The animals in the zoo should not be fed.
