Cubbon Park – a fine Tourist Place in Karnataka
The Cubbon Park is located in the center of the Bangalore City. The established year of the Cubbon Park is known as 1970. The founder of the Cubbon Park is an Engineer during the British period in India called Richard Sankey. The total area of the Cabbon Park of Karnataka is 300 acres. The Kubbon Park also has many collections of flora and fauna in its total area of 1.2 square kilometers. The old name of the Cubbon Park is Meade's Park. Even though the Cubbon Park was created during the period of a British Commisioner named Meade, when the commissioner was changed, it as renamed as Cubbon Park. During 1927, name was again changed to the Sri Chamarajendra Park. As we have discussed above, the Cubbon Park has many flora and fauna like many outcrops, very big sized rocks and high massed bamboos etc. Cubbon Park was created and maintained by the Horticulture Department of the Karnataka State.

Attara Kacheri
The current name of the Attara Kacheri is the High court of Karnataka. The Attara Kacheri which is close to the Cubbon Park was utilised as the Secretariat of the Karnataka Government between the year of 1868 to 1956.
