Skanda Giri :
Skanda Giri is one of the tourist spot i.e. extremely beautiful located in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state. The village name is called as Kandavara Halli and the hill is called as Kandavarahalli Betta or Kalawarahalli Betta. This is one of the beautiful hills in Nandi hills range. There are two caves, one starts from the base that later leads to the temple at peak and another one is somewhere midway that is about 30 feet! Both are yet to be explored especially the first one of the ranges. So we can see lot of trekkers trekking the Skanda giri hills to explore the place. These days it is getting lot of tourist attraction. Yet Government has to make some developments in this place for savety purposes.

Distance: from Bangalore it is approximately 70Km. You must take NH-7 Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway. NH-7 route or highway via Mudennahalli.

Malai Mahadeshwara hills are also known as MM hills which has a temple dedicated to Mahadeshawra attracting not only pilgrims. Mahadeshwara is none other than Lord Shiva! It is has good nature attraction also! Mala Mahadeshwara hills are located in eastern parts of Kollegal Taluk,Chamarajanagar district in Karnatka. It has mainly temple that is a major attraction for all the Hindu people. Daily poojas,archanas and sevas are done to the god Malemahadeshwara. People can take part in the poojas. Malai Mahadeshwara is surrounded by 77 hills of the Eastern Ghats. Many number of Piligrims come different places of India like Andhra Pradesh,Tamil Nadu to get the blessings of Malaemahadeshwara.There are many dense forests in Malamahadeshwara hills that mainly contain Bamboo and Sandalwood trees.

Devarayana Durga is another beautiful hill station. This also contains a temples as special attraction. The much followed deity is Lord Nara simha. In the downward part of hills there is one Narasimha called as Bhoga Narasimha and to the top of the hill there is Yoga Narasimha. About 2 hours is required to climb the hill. The gods are really graceful and give a sense of joy!. They are the most favourite attractions for Hindu Devotes,Nature lovers and trekkers. The Yoga Narasimha in the top of the hill is seen only by the Deepa light or Arathii light! There are many monkeys so be very very careful if you are carrying food stuff along with you. Road ways are also very good so you can go through your own vehicle or bus and get the blessings of Lord Narasimha!
