Garden of Five Senses, Delhi - Tourist Information


Delhi is a place where a number of tourist places are present. One of the must to visit places in Delhi is the Garden of Five Senses. It is a park full of a lot of features for the visitors to explore. It was developed by Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation so that people can enjoy in their free time .
It is spread in quite large area of about 20 acres. It is situated at Ul-Azaib village, close to the Mehrauli heritage area in New Delhi. A large of creative construction is done here for the recreation of people. For instance Soaring stainless-steel birds attract a number of visitors here and force them to visit this place again and again. A troop of elephants made up of stone cravings is worth to watch and is really very appealing.

Divisions in the Garden of Five Senses


The garden has many divisions including the Khas Bagh which has too much resemblance with the Mughal Garden. There are water cascades and green trees and shrubs which appeal to the eyes of the visitors. A sculpture of 'A Fountain Tree" is also very attracting. There is also a food court situated in the park to cater to the needs of the stomach of the tourists. Furthermore there is also a shopping cart where you can purchase a lot of stuff that will keep you reminding of your visit to this beautiful place.
The second division is Neel bagh where there are a pool of water lilies covered by plants of varying colors and textures. The third division consists of Colour Gardens which consists of a collection of different types of flowers that aid to the beauty of the garden. These flowers give a lot of aesthetic appeal to the garden. There are more than two hundred varieties of plants present in this garden, thus you have a lot of variety to explore here.

Nature Walk in Garden of Five Senses


The nature Walk in Garden of Five Senses gives you a glimpse of the natural beauty present in the park. This gives you an exposure to a number of sculptures and murals also. During the walk you can see various trees and also their description is present so that you can know about these plants as well. The description includes common name, botanical name and all other details about the plant.
