Anthargange

Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta


This famous spot is also located near Bangalore. It is 75 km away from Bangalore city and just 16 km away from Kanakapura. Mysore is around 112 km away from Bilikal Betta. Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta is a beautiful hill near Kanakpura and it is the highest of the entire hill in the area. The meaning of the term Bilikal Betta is white Rock. Bheemeshwari


This trekking spot is located at the distance of 103 km from Bangalore city. The nearest city near the location is Mandya at the distance of 58 km. Bheemeshwari is a small town in the Mandya district which is situated in between Shivansamudra Falls and Mekedatu on river Cauvery. It location is famous for trekking purpose and weekend trips. This spot is famous for its ecotourism. The best time to visit the Bheemeshwari is between the months of August and February. During this period you can see a variety of birds, like fishing eagles, woodpeckers, and kingfishers in this area. The camping facilities are available at this spot.

Nandi hills

You can reach the top of the hill by crossing around 1200 steps from foot to the peak of the hill. This trekking place is located at the distance of 100kms from Mangalore and just 30 km from Kukke Subramanya. The route is full of curves and tunnels and bridges. You can enjoy the view of more than 25 waterfalls and several small streams. Kodachadri

Kudremukh


This destination is considered as one of the best place for trekking in Karnataka. This is one of the highest peaks of Western Ghats. You need to take permission from RFO from Kudremukh town for trekking. Trekking is allowed inside the national park and the permission for camping is denied. You can find many routes for trekking to kudremukh peak. The famous amongst it is Samse – Mullodi route which starts from Mullodi village and it takes around 5 hours to reach the peak.
