The Meadows Resort Aurangabad: Tourist Information

The Meadows is a beautiful green resort located right on the Aurangabad – Nasik Highway. It comprises of 48 rooms and various other facilities like conference hall, banquets, swimming pool, spa, sauna, and various restaurants.

The Meadows is also enlisted in very few of the environment friendly hotels present in India, as its garden being home to varied species of flora and fauna. The Meadows also encourages various environment friendly activities including rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, organic farming and solar lighting.

All the luxurious cottages and suites are spread over wide acres of lush greenery. The best part about living in The Meadows is its proximity to the two famously known World Heritage Sites, viz. The Ajanta caves and the Ellora caves. This resort also gives the picturesque view of the mini Taj Mahal of Deccan, the Bibi ka Maqbara.

Accommodation:

The accommodation in The Meadows is classifies in two types the cottages and Suites. There are two types of cottages, the Deluxe cottage and the Superior cottage. The cottages are located close to the water pond and the garden and have their own patio. The cottages open right in the garden and also give out a view of the surrounding hillscapes.

The Suites are independently located for adequate privacy. Each and every suite is gracefully arranged in and around the corners of the water pond. The suites are of four types and are arranged in accordance to the maximum privacy each one of them provides.

The various types of Suites are The Peacock suite, The English Suite, The Rustic Suite and the Lotus Suite. Each and every room of the cottages are elegantly furnished and studded with various in-room facilities like internet access, dial phones, TV, housekeeping and many more to add. In addition to the existing facilities the Superior rooms and Suites include a mini bar, DVD Player and a welcome basket.

Restaurants in the resort:

The Four Seasons: This Restobar offers Indian as well as International cuisine like Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Italian.

Marmalade – Is an All Day Café open for early breakfast and some international fast foods.

Simply Delicious – This is an in-house bakery with wide array of confectioneries, breads, cookies and cakes.

The resort also offers delicious Picnic Hampers for people who plan to enjoy some great drive off in and around the farm and surrounding hills. Each picnic hamper includes everything right from table ware to delicious picnic foods including sandwiches, tea cakes or even mini meals.

Deluxe Single – Rs. 4500/- per night
Deluxe Double – Rs. 5000/- per night
Superior Double - Rs. 6000/- per night
Two Bedroom Suite – Rs. 13000/- per night
One Bedroom suite – Rs. 10000/- per night

Above tariff is inclusive of airport transfers, breakfast, accommodation and use of gym and pool. The taxes are charged extra.

Activities:

Apart from the wide range of facilities, The Meadows also organize events and activities especially during holidays and vacations. The events are also organized on special request, provided the requests are made two to three days prior to the event date. Few of the activities include:
