The 5 days of visit can be ideally classified as follows

Day 1 at Darjeeling


After arriving at New Jalpaiguri railway junction, move to Darjeeling town. Take suitable accommodation in hotel or lodge or resort according to your financial budget. Darjeeling is about three hours journey by road from New Jalpaiguri town. On the same day you can have a stroll around malls during evening time. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 at Darjeeling


Early in the morning take a trip to Tiger Hill and enjoy the sunrise over Kanchan Junga. Take breakfast in the hotel and then visit the well known spots such as Zoological Gardens, Ghoom Monastery, Dhir Dham Temple, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Senchal Lake. Come back to your accommodation place in the evening enjoy the evening time in the town and stay overnight.

Day 3 at Darjeeling


After having breakfast, enjoy a joyful train ride in toy train. It would take you through some of the amazing landscapes and engineering marvels such as Batasia Loop. This ride will take you to Kurseong railway station. Come back to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight.

Day 4 at Darjeeling- Mirik- Darjeeling


Right from the morning, start a full day trip to Mirik (2 hours journey) . It is a small valley in Sing-Lila hills region. With a pleasant and moderate weather its main attraction is the lake with 3.5 km path around it and the availability of boating service. Visit Pashupatinagar in the border of Nepal is another beautiful place. Come back to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight. Visit ends in Darjeeling.
