Ranthambore National Park spans over an area of 392 square kilometers. And neighboring sanctuaries like that - the Mansingh Sanctuary and Kaila Devi Sanctuary.The park is famous for its tigers. Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is one of the best places in India to see the majestic predators in their natural habitat. The Tigers can be seen easily, even during the day to work on their quest-regular hunting and the care of their young.

Ranthambore National Park contains a wide variety of animals, birds and reptiles inside. Primarlily population is composed of tigers, leopards, hyenas striped, Sambar, Nilgai, common or Hanuman chital langurs, macaques, jackals, wild cats, caracal, lazy bear, black men, Rufoustailed Hare, Indian wild boar, chinkara, palm civets common cat or ToddyLittle mongoose, Small Indian civet and mongoose Commons.
The only amphibian species are the common Indian toad and the frog.
The park is most famous for its daily tigers and is known as the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve

Ranthambore Safari Rides lasts for about three hours. We can choose any of the vehicle for safari, 20 seater open top canter or 6 seater open top gypsy. Each ride costs around Rs700-800 per person. The safari vehicle rides through the different zones in the park .There are many resorts to stay in on the way from Sawai Madhopur to the national park.
Timings to enter and exit to the park vary according to the season.
Very descriptive article about Ranthambore National Park. Till now, I haven't visited any national park. But after reading this article, I would love to visit here. Apart from Ranthambore, I would like to visit Corbett National park located at the foothills of the Himalayas in Ramnagar district of Uttarakhand.
