Budget Trip to south India pilgrimage trip with family (6 days Trivandrum, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram, Madurai )

Hi All it was nice experience so I would like to share with all those are planning a pilgrimage trip with family within their budget so this trip will be having mostly accommodation in Dharamsala or bhakt niwas with address and phone number or some have online advance booking (will share booking link or procedure) on these above-mentioned places. My objective was to share all the information which could be helpful for you all we have total 7 members in this journey and it was in our budget due to good Dharamshala or bhakt niwas

So our journey started with train from Jaipur to Trivandrum and we reached at Trivandrum in 2 days so it cost you up to 600/700 (sleeper), 1900/2000 (Ac) PP approx.

Trivandrum (1 Day Plan)

Morning 5 AM we reached Trivandrum station and we already made a cab booking so he came at station for pickup and we moved to our hotel and check-in
As we chose the hotel for a one-day stay had some rest and after taking bath and breakfast we went to sightseeing for city and darshan of famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. So our cab driver makes sure we do not miss anything which is so popular about city. In lunch time we had lunch in some Udupi restaurants and then we move to kovalam beach in evening and enjoy beach after that we visited some local market and dinner outside and came to hotel. we spent night with all days' memory.

Kanyakumari (2 Day Plan)

Next morning, we have moved to Kanyakumari after having breakfast at Trivandrum in our cab so it was approx. 80 km journey so we completed in 2 hrs. and reached Kanyakumari. Here we have booked Vivekananda Kendra Pilgrimage Dharamsala or bhakt niwas so it was clean and good, you can book a room here in 60 days in advance and max for 3 days stay so we have booked for 2 days and we have visited all mentioned places in the cab in 2 days with sunrise and sunset.

After collecting memories of these 2 days we have moved to Rameshwaram 3rd day after breakfast.


Rameshwaram (2 Day Plan)

Next morning in our trip with family we have moved to Rameshwaram after having breakfast in our cab so it was approx. 310 km journey so we completed in 7 hrs. we had taken lunch on the way itself and reached at Rameshwaram in afternoon around 3 pm and we check-in at Maheshwari bhakt niwas. you can book in advance by just making a call to Maheshwari bhakt niwas and other places you go and grab room so I have mentioned phone number you can contact them so they guide you well.

Madurai (1 Day Plan)

Next 3rd day we have moved to Madurai from Rameshwaram which was having 170 km journey and we have covered in 3 hrs so we left Rameshwaram early morning and reached 10 AM at Madurai and check-in at bangur dharmsala and rest for sometimes and left for visiting places and 7:30 we came back and left for our home back as we have train at 9 PM.This trip with family was a memorable one.
