A Full Weekend Getaway in the Valley of Manali-Kullu-Kasol

17km away from the main city, Beas Kund is a lake blessed with nature's beauty. The blue lake is believed to be the daily-bath point of Rishi Vyas. You can also find trekking opportunity near this place.

Vashisht Temple

This is not only a religious temple but also have a hot water spring in it. While the spiritual environment of this temple will leave you awestruck, the hot water bath will reenergize you.

Hadimba Temple

Hadimba temple situated under the cover of Deodar trees tells its mythological importance itself. This temple is dedicated to Hidimba, the wife of Bhima from the epic Mahabharata. The quiet atmosphere of this temple will attract you to have some moment of peace in the lap of nature. Three days Hadimba Devi festival takes place every year when the temple gets busy with a number of devotees.


The sister town of Manali is also blessed with nature's beauty and marvelous landscapes. This town is much known for Manikaran Sahib and adventure activities.

Manikaran Sahib

A famous pilgrimage of Sikh religion, Manikaran Sahib is situated over the Beas River in Manikaran town. This place is also famous for its hot spring water and amazing landscapes.


An unexplored beauty of Kullu district is the Naggar valley. Nature rich valley between the mountains is perfect for a leisure walk.


This place is blessed with greenish nature and mountain landscapes. Tourists mostly visit this place to experience various adventure activities.

Adventure Activities

These three sister towns are famous for adventure activities such as paragliding, trekking, skiing, snow biking and river rafting. Tourists often stay at camps for weeks to enjoy these activities.


Manali is well connected to Delhi via roadways and it takes around 10 hours to reach there by bus. You can also choose to take a flight to the nearest Bhuntar airport. From the airport, it is 50 km to the Manali main city. You can get cab or taxi from Bhuntar airport to reach Manali.

Nice post describing a full weekend getaway in the valley of Manali-Kulu-Kasol. I have visited all these places seriously all are awesome and full of natural beauty. You fell relaxed when you reach any of these places. My experience was Good.
