The Tourist train has seven boarding points to board the train and move to the divine places covering above these above mentioned places. The boarding points are Indore Dewas Sehore Habibganj Itarasi (Madhya Pradesh) and Nagpur (Maharashtra). So, overall there are six boarding points at Madhya Pradesh and one boarding point at Maharashtra.
Transportation: Transportation medium would be Bharat Darshan Trains starting from Indore covering these five travel destinations. Train accommodation consists of sleeper class and 3rd AC class for journey.
Date of travel: The divine journey is starting from 25th February 2019 by 3:00 pm from Indore station. The train would be passing by other boarding station accordingly. You can check the train running status to know the live status of train for timely on-boarding.
Duration of Tour: The tour starts by 25th February 2019 and will be back way on de-boarding points on 7th March 2019. So, basically this tour is of 11 days to explore the "Dakshini Divinity".
Package cost: The tour package comprises of categories like:
Comfort Category: INR 10,395 per person. (Sleeper class accommodation)
Standard Category: INR 12,705 per person ( AC 3 accommodation )
The cost includes the taxes, transportation, accommodation, sightseeing and meals (three times). The cost doesn't include personal interests and sightseeing fares. Hiring a tour guide, shopping and entry fees have to bear by pilgrims. The difference in cost category is transportation accommodation categorized in third AC class and sleeper class.
Food: Meals would be provided by IRCTC during these 11 days journey. Pure vegetarian meals by railrestro.com would be provided to the pilgrims heading to the divine center of south. Meals include tea/coffee in the morning. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and water bottles would be provided to all the pilgrims.
Accommodation: Hall accommodation would be provided to all the tourists on sharing basis during the time of night stay and morning freshen ups.
Itinerary: Below is the day wise information regarding the 11 days tour. So, be prepared for these eleven days trip to your Dakshin Bharat Darshan.
Day 1: Bharat Darshan train would be departing the Indore station on 25th February 2019 by 3:00 pm. The train would be moving towards Rameshwaram covering all the boarding point stations of Madhya Pradesh. Overnight journey on the train.
Day 2: Reaching to Nagpur station. The train would be heading to Rameshwaram after the boarding of tourists from Nagpur junction.
Day 3 : Reaching Renugunta station. Visiting Balaji Tirupati Temple and overnight stay at Tirupati.
Day 4: Local sightseeing and visit at Tirupati temple. Departure from Tirupati in the evening by 9: 00 clock. Overnight journey to Rameshwaram.
Day 5 Arrival at Rameshram in the morning. Visit Shiva temple and 21 holy wells (own expenditure) and local sightseeing. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.
Day 6: After breakfast, train will depart from Rameshwaram to Madurai by 11:00 am and arrival at Madurai by 2:00 pm. Visit Meenakshi temple (own expenses) and local sightseeing. Departure from Madurai by 10:30 pm (night) to Kanyakumari. Overnight train journey towards Kanyakumari.
Day 7: Arrival at Nagarcoil junction and then a road trip to Kanyakumari. Visit Kanyakumari temple, Vivekananda rock memorial, Gandhi Mandap ext. by own expenditure. Overnight stay in at Kanyakumari.
Day 8: Departure from Kanyakumari towards Trivandrum by road. Visit santhgiri ashram, kovalam beach, Padmanabh swami temple. Again departing Trivandrum by road to reach Kochuveli junction. Boarding the train at this junction to return Indore by 11: 00 pm. It's an overnight journey.
Day 9: Day and overnight journey towards de-boarding points.
Day 10: De-boarding point at Nagpur and Itarasi junction.
Day 11: Train would be reaching to all the de-boarding points of Madhya Pradesh and reaching at Indore station by 7:30 am in the morning.
