Devbag is the Maldives of Maharashtra
I have heard before many times the name of malvan,tarkarli. So I decided to go and explore the place. What I have heard about this place is actually worth to visit and also it's like Andaman and Maldives of Maharashtra. Clear beaches with white sand, long costal beaches with huge number of coconut and date tress all around Malvan is the main attraction. This is the only place where you can do scuba diving activity which is an amazing experience throughout my journey.

How to reach - Many sleeper buses from Pune, Mumbai to reach Kudal which is 30 kms from Malvan, you can rent a bike from Kudal.
Many trains are also available till Kudal.
Airport - Goa is the nearest airport (150kms)
Work is going on for Sindhudurg chippi airport near to devbag(10 km from malvan).
Best time - November to January
Travel time - 3,4 days
Food- as you are on beach side you will get a delicious sea food with malvani flavours prepared by locals which is an amazing experience! It's a heaven for Sea foodies
Stay- There are many options for stay like home stay which is in budget and also are hygienic. Resorts, hotels many options are available with your budget ranging from 1 k to 5 k.

From Sindhudurg fort you will get a pleasant sea view and an icing on the cake,
a fish spa(don't miss).

Day 2
Kunkeshwar, Devgad- Early morning you can visit sea side Kunkeshwar temple from that you will get amazing view of kunkeshwar beach which has white sand beach with clear waters of blue shades. Than from back side of the temple proceed for Devgad beach. This is costal route and both sides of a road are covered with suru plants, such a spectacular view it is ! After that at Devgad their is rope way facility above sea so you can get view of sea form a height by rope way don't miss this.
Tarkarli Beach is famous for white sand and MTDC resorts.
Day 3
Devbag- You may proceed towards Devbag side. You have to book a boat ride which is of 3-4 hours and will cover tsunami island, bird island, devbag sangam, golden rock, nivati, bhogawe beach and last dolphin point. These all are worth to visit, this place is called as Andaman and Maldives of Maharashtra.
You can cover all places in 3 days.
