1. Rajamala-Eravikulam National Park


"Rajamala" is a place where half the world's population of the rare mountain goat or "tahr" exist.This place is situated 2695 Mts above the sea level and full of greenish scenery.Total number of tahr in Rajamala is estimated to be over 1400.Eravikulam National Park(16Km from Munnar town) is the place allotted for tourists.Visiting time is between 7am-8pm.Entry pass is Rs5,10,50(Indian rupee) for children(age below 12),adult,foreigners respectively.

2. Mattupetty


"Mattupetty" is a beautiful place in Munnar. It is famous for it's specialised diary farm.Hundreds of high yielding cattles are reproducing here.Indo-Swiss Live Stock Project is also an attraction.In additionMattupetty dam, Kundala lake near the diary farm are mind blowing places.The boating facilities are provided by the DTPC Idukki.There isn't any pay except at diary farm and for boating worth 10 and 100(Indian rupee) respectively.Not in money but the moment that is coming into our life is worth than any things.Let it be yours and get some wonderful feeling.

3. Devikulam


The "Hill Station" is the best picnic spot at Devikulam.Cool mountain air,exotic flora and fauna is very rare exciting experience.The "Sita Davi Lake" is very special,where fishing is permitted.Hill station is thousands of meters above the sea level.The road may be covered with mist during early morning and nigt with 3-15 degree celsius.Even during afternoon 10-20 degree celsius retains.The exact view point is 300 meters from parking.Many number of hills are visible from here,which may be smaller or taller providing a view that cannot erase from our heart.

4. Pallivasal


Pallivasal is the venue of 1st Hydro Electric Project in kerala.It is 6 Km from munnar town.This place become more popular on the foundation of the Huge Project,result in the flow of tourists to view the stunning scenery.A good road facility is enabled easy travelling for a distence.But an experienced driver is an essential due to narrow road.The pallivasal falls is situated proximity to the Sita Devi Lake.The view of the falls midist hills and dark forest is a feast to mind.This place is going to blast the nature loving hearts,and can assure that it makes a feeling that didn't happen in any ones life.The beauty of munnar, Rajamala, Pallivasal etc will not leave you without giving his wonderful presence.
