Three Epic places to visit in Himachal Pradesh- Tirthan Valley that nobody can explain it.

Chhoi Waterfall Trek

This place is not easy to reach out and not easy to describe of its beauty and vibes. Chhoie water fall won't only give you unique experience but it also will give you a scenic view. The water fall is located in Kullu district. It's a 6 KM trek and the trek to this water fall is starting from the village Nagini. You can hire a taxi from the hotel only.

I stayed in Hotel Mansarovar which is located in Banjar village. I booked a taxi from the hotel only. There is no option for local transport like bus. You have to hire a small vehicle 4 seated like alto. Alto is mostly run in this beautiful valley.

I started a trek at 10 AM in the morning. There was little sunny weather. I started walking and the trek was very steep. You will cross so many big rocks as you keep on walking upwards. You will see breathtaking views from the hill. Few local houses also were there on the hill. The trek was little scary as the trail was single lane and passing through the water fall nalah. If you are fit than only go for this trek. But I believe that "kuch pane k liye kuch karna padta hai". That is call hard work.

I was walking towards the water fall and on the way kept clicking photos and videos. Was about reach the destination I heard a little sound of water fall from the distance. This waterfall is so sacred for local people. You will find a tree near the water fall where the local people tie a red colour chunari for faith. The local people are come here and pray for the healthiness of the village.

I was about to reach the water fall and as you keep reaching near the fall as you will face scary trails. You have to cross the rock very carefully and safely as it was so dangerous path. That's it. You are done.

Finally I reached the water fall. Ahhha!! feeling so cool wind coming from the water fall. It is so amazing water fall. It was coming from the high hill and surrounded by the green mountains. I set there for some time and felt the view. You will feel so chill vibe when you go there. It was unforgettable experience you must visit once.

Jalori pass

This is a high mountain pass with an elevation of 10,800 feet or 3120 meters above sea level.
I woke up the next day and the weather was cloudy and it was just started raining little little. Weather was so cool and pleasant. I took healthy breakfast and left for Jalori pass at around 10.30 AM. I suppose to leave at 8 AM but due to bad weather I was late. But it was good to be late BDW you'll know the reason later :p
My car driver cum guide was so polite and helpful. He took me to the trek and guided. The Way to Jalori pass is on distance of 20 KM from the village Banjar. You will cross the village Jibhi and Shoja on the way and you will be there. The view of the path was so beautiful. I can't express myself how it was feeling to see those views. Beautiful deodar trees, The pets, local people and obvious pahad. It was still raining and weather is telling me to touch it. The sky was cloudy and they were calling me. That chills wind running behind me to touch my face, hair and my soul.

I was about to reach Jalori pass. Before 1 KM, I started seeing snow around me. You will find some snow around the place. i got down from the car to take some pictures. After couple of minutes we started to drive towards Jalori pass. Now I have reached to Jalori pass. So cool weather. The rain was stopped on the way. But now it was started. Falling some tiny ice balls (Ole) along with the rain. My hand was freeze and no feelings in my hand. There was too cold. We took hot tea and snacks. Click lots of pictures. We enjoyed a lot. BDW earlier i said that we were late and it was good. Because the rain was stopped and sky was open later.

Now we are going to start trek to Serolsar Lake which is a very sacred and beautiful lake hidden between the valleys. Due to bad weather we decided not to trek and We started going back to the hotel. We have just crossed around 500 meter and suddenly I said to the car driver to stop the car and take U turn. I thought "Yaha tak aayi hut oh Lake dekh kar hi jaungi" from so long I was waiting to visit Serolsar lake. And today it's going to happened. Drove back and parked the car.

Serolsar Lake Trek

For me (Priya), this place will be rated as the top most offbeat destinations of Himachal Pradesh.
After taking some rest and done with the bonfire. We start our hike to majestic Serolsar Lake. The distance from Jalori pass to Serolsar Lake is about 6 Km. 2 hours of going and 3 hours of coming back. We bring umbrella too along with us. The trail passes through hills and dense deodar forest. You will hear the voice of birds chirping. You will find some huge rocks too. You will also find some Maggie and tea stalls on the way. You'll get to see snow capped mountains from far away. Hopefully catching a view of the upper Himalayas snow capped vistas.

After 2 hours of trek we were in front of this beautiful Serolsar Lake. Cold says own work. Again started raining and the clouds are down. Almost everything was invisible. There was a temple of Buddhi Nagin Temple beside the lake. We couldn't visit as there was too cold. After sometime the lake was fully covered with the clouds. And for a while nothing was visible. The cold wind was blowing. Rubbing my hands and I kept staring at the lake and feeling so peace.

7

We took tea and Maggie near the lake at local dhaba. After visiting the lake and enjoyed some snacks we started steps back with something new experience and memories.
