Readily available snacks: Most of the pregnant ladies have the nauseating problems and few face lower blood sugar problem also. So, there should always be sufficient amount of snacks in the bag to be consumed when needed and can overcome the problem of weakness also.
Drink plenty of water: You should always try to keep your body hydrated and keep bottle with filtered water in it as not to catch any infection. And keep on drinking it in regular intervals even if you are not thirsty.
Prenatal card: Before traveling, try to consult your doctor to get thoroughly checked yourself and take your prenatal record with you, for any emergency, the other doctor can easily understand your case. And the place where ever you are going should have well medical facilities but try to avoid high altitude places during the late pregnancy as you may feel difficult to breathe.
Comfortable clothes: The clothes should be loosely fitted and cover properly to escape from mosquito bites.
Hygiene: It should be well maintained.

Air Travel: It is the safest way to travel during the pregnancy especially in the second trimester but before planning your trip, try to consult your doctor.
Road/Train Travel: Avoid long distance journeys but if you are going then try to stretch legs and walk around after every two hours to improve blood circulation.
